One of my clients asked me about the easiest way to convert files. So I thought I’d share my thoughts with others of my readers.

If the original file is less than 1 megabyte in size you can email it as an attachment to the appropriate email address and, the converted file will be emailed back.

So for example, if the original file is a word file and you want it converted to a PDF you would attach the word file to an email and email it to: pdf@zamzar.com.

Equally if you want to convert a pdf to word, you would attach the pdf to an email and email it to:

doc@zamzar.com

If the original is bigger than 1 megabyte then go to the website:

http://www.zamzar.com/

Find the button for “choose files”.

Then find the combo box for “convert files to”. Select the file you want it converted to.

Then find the edit box to enter you email address.

Then find the convert button, to start the conversion process.

When it’s done, you’ll get an email with a link to download the converted file.
